 Burleigh is at the centre of the Gold Coast and the National Park on the headland is a major attraction for locals and tourists.
There is a wide range of tourist accommodation either overlooking the beach or only a short walk away. Behind Burleigh Heads are the suburbs of Burleigh Waters, home for many of our local residents and close to Bond University- and West Burleigh, which is mainly commercial.  Looking for some sporting activity - well, apart from surfing and fishing, you can find a gymnasium, indoor sporting centre, adventure centre, tennis courts, golf course, ten-pin bowling and lawn bowls. Also, you can use the lake system of Burleigh Waters to sail or kayak. If it is more leisurely activity you seek, why not take a walk along the beautiful foreshore of Burleigh, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The foreshore boasts barbecue facilities for you to enjoy and playgrounds where you can keep the children occupied.
Dining Out  Feeling hungry? Burleigh has a wide range of coffee shops where you can choose to sit outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and watch the passing parade.
